Railey was accepted into the prestigious copyist program at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in February 2016. Over the course of six sessions, she worked on creating a replica of Sir Joseph Alfred Duplessis' portrait of Benjamin Franklin. Following in the footsteps of professional artists, working from an original Master painting is an integral part of becoming a well versed artist. At the end of the program, Railey's work was featured on the Met's Copyist 2016 brochure.
